Groups You can create public, private or hidden groups and decide who you want to see what goes on in them. You can create albums for groups you create and decide who you want to see them, plus you can let other members of the group put pictures in the group album too. Groups are an easy way to make fan pages or anything where people of the same common interests gather. Anyone surfing the web will be able to see your public group, but they must register as a site member to see any group activity. You can also create albums on your member account, complete with photo tagging, comments and likes.
Classifieds Only members can post and reply to classifieds. I thought about making it so anyone could, but, for your safety, I did it how I did it. I put a few main categories for the classifieds and I will expand on them as I can. I can move your ads to new categories and sub categories as I make them, so, I will add categories people suggest too, if you don’t see one that fits your needs.
Gatherings Events and Gatherings are the same thing, Gatherings just sounds so much more right than Events. Anyone in the world can Add a Gathering. You do not have to be a member. Anonymity is always right is some circumstances. Just click on the Gatherings link up top and there is a link on that page to add an event.
Danksters is what we call members of Hippie Nations. That part of the site is completely private. All the features you are used to: comments, favorites, likes, are in your activity stream. HTML also works in your status updates. Plus, you can add pictures, videos and links to your status update very easily with the push of a button, you can also add your mood if you want, like the way myspace did. You can send and receive private messages with your friends. I made it so only friends can send private messages. You can send a public message to anyone from the button on their profile or just by using the @username like twitter does.You can also follow people you want to follow. If you put a video link in your profile it will show in the sidebar on your page.
